Communication Suggestions for Your Sharefunding Campaign on Eyevestor
Good communication is essential for your sharefunding campaign.
Eyevestor provides standard visibility through LinkedIn, the website, and “Featured” newsletters.
There are also gains to be made within your own network (stakeholders!).
In addition, there are extra options for attracting more attention to your campaign.
Below you can read what you can do yourself and what we (or partners such as PR agency Fair Focus) can do for you.
Standard Communication from Eyevestor
These items are offered at no extra cost:
- LinkedIn posts on the Eyevestor account
- Announcement at campaign launch
- Update at 50% funding or approaching 100%/almost closed – we provide this based on your input (see checklist below).
- Mention in Eyevestor’s ‘Featured’ newsletter
- Mention in the Eyevestor app
- Sign up to be included in this newsletter for investors and followers.
What You Can Do as a Venture
- Use your own channels. LinkedIn, Instagram, your newsletter or website: tell your network what you’re doing, why you’re doing it, and how people can invest.
- Publish in stages – not all at once. Share updates during the campaign: milestones, stories, behind-the-scenes, an investor quote, etc.
Stakeholder Communication
Don’t forget to actively and timely inform your key audience (existing customers, shareholders, employees, investors, family and friends). They are your first and strongest ambassadors.
- Inform them at the start, halfway through, and towards the end of the campaign.
- A simple email or newsletter is often enough.
- If desired, Fair Focus can assist you with planning, editing, or execution.
Press Release (Optional)
A short and powerful press release about your sharefunding can help your campaign take off. We have special arrangements with Fair Focus PR. The agency initially offers support in drafting/editing press releases and distributing them to relevant media. Sign up with Fair Focus by answering these questions and sending them to annelies@fairfocus.nl.
Paid Content / Advertising
Eyevestor arranges extra modules, such as publications or ad placements in relevant media aimed at entrepreneurs or impact investors. These modules are available separately at a reduced rate, thanks to arrangements made by Eyevestor. Let us know if you are interested, and we will send you an up-to-date overview.

Please provide us with this information in a timely manner so we can support you effectively:
- Venture name + tagline
- Campaign start date
- Duration / end date
- Target amount and minimum
- Why this sharefunding?
- What will you do with the funds raised?
- What makes you unique?
- Any news?
- Quote from the founder (optional)
- Link to campaign page
- Contact person + details
- Logo / visuals
And, for introduction purposes, what we can use in messaging:
- Your goals for 2025
- Do you have a marketing plan?
- Your experience with PR so far
- Your target audiences
- Your competitors (please name three)
- Your current marketing mix – which channels do you use?
- Why are you interesting for journalists?
- Any major news in 2025?
- Who could act as spokesperson?
- Where you are located and where you are from (for local media)
